| Athena
Galvin is a multi-talented artist living in the Bay Area,
California. Born in Seattle, WA, she took full advantage of the
creative opportunities around her and engulfed herself in
music, writing and art from an early age. She was raised in a
household where creativity and intelligence were valued above all else,
and was encouraged from the start to explore any and all artistic
inclinations. At age 12, Athena discovered the
joy of playing in an orchestra and fell madly in love with performing
music as part of a group. As time went on this love of
performing branched out to singing, acting, modeling and, most
recently, dance. Having lived in two places where technology is king, Athena is a fan of any and all technological tools she can use to create art. Discovering Cubase was a pivotal moment for her. To her, it was like a little girl finally getting that pony she'd been asking for all those years. She has since adopted digital tools for all aspects of her creativity, from making music to creating graphics to linking up with collaborators. Athena has recently been seen in a national Microsoft print ad, recorded a duet with pop artist Xavier Toscano, and she is currently working as a professional Polynesian and belly dancer with Salty Bird Entertainment. |
